John L. Aspinwall, Director & CEO
John Aspinwall has been in the Financial Services Industry since 1983. John's
experience includes community banking, public accounting, technology development,
and twenty years of mortgage banking. Prior to founding Starkey Mortgage (WR Starkey Mortgage, LLP NMSLR#2146),
John was an SVP/District Manager with Sunbelt National Mortgage. John currently
serves on the Board of the McCoy School of Business at Texas State University,
and Grad Resources, a non-profit ministry to graduate students worldwide. |
Scott A. Benson, Director
Scott has been in the mortgage banking and finance since 1982. Prior to coming to Starkey
Mortgage, Scott was the Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Accubanc Mortgage
Corporation which became National City Mortgage. |
Jim Clapp, President & CFO
Jim is responsible for the management of all financial and accounting functions for Starkey Mortgage. His background includes 17 years in Commerical Banking, focused on Mortgage Banker financing. One of Jim's primary responsibilities is the management of the company’s warehouse lines of credit and banking relationships which support the company’s origination platform. Jim draws on his experience and contacts from managing one of the largest warehouse lending platforms in the country prior to joining Starkey Mortgage. Jim also manages the company’s relationships with Secondary Marketing investors. |
Julie M. Gross, Executive Vice President -- Chief Operating Officer
With 37 years of service in the mortgage industry, Julie’s reputation as one of the industry’s top leaders is built on her integrity and character. Having joined Starkey Mortgage as one of its first employees, Julie’s insight into the company is first hand. She speaks about the company from her heart with passion and enthusiasm and has a genuine desire to share her experiences with others. She believes that a company is defined by the quality of the people it hires and that you should surround yourself with people who share that belief. Julie’s perspective is that a great company is made up of great people who share the same goals and values and that this is what sets the standards by which others should be compared. |
David R. Williams, Executive Vice President -- National Production Manager
Starting in 1981, Dave has spent his entire professional career in Mortgage Banking and always in production. He began as a Loan Officer Trainee, became a Top Loan Officer, Branch Manager, Corporate Sales Manager, Regional Manager and now in his current role as National Production Manager. Having been with his previous company for 17 years, where he had an ownership interest, he found the vision and passion of Starkey Mortgage so inspiring, he became part of the Team. Dave believes in building Starkey Mortgage's production by leveraging loan officers to do what they do best, building value added relationships. |
Adam Pongrass, Executive Vice President -- Secondary Marketing
Adam is responsible for all Secondary Marketing functions which includes day-to-day pipeline risk management. In addition, Adam is a great resource to our Loan Officers for recommending pricing advice and product solutions. |
