A note from our Chairman, President and Our Customers

As President of WR Starkey Mortgage, my job is to maximize productivity levels from every individual in our organization as well as focus on future growth opportunities for the company. By spending years in the field as a former top producing Loan Officer, I can understand the needs a salesperson has in today’s competitive marketplace. We have built an incredible organization with a foundation consisting of character, integrity and stability that has our sales force growing while so many of our competitors are faltering.

Headquartered in Plano, Texas, we have grown WR Starkey Mortgage to be the largest independently owned mortgage company in the State of Texas! We currently employ nearly 500 people and maintain offices throughout Texas, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia and Oklahoma. Since opening our doors in January of 2000, we have originated and funded over $9 billion in residential mortgage loans in our retail only branches. All of our executive management team members have personally produced mortgage loans at very high levels in the past, and thus have a mission to help every single Loan Officer reach his or her full potential.

Our focus will continue to be a dominant force in every marketplace where we are currently located by hiring the finest mortgage professionals in the industry.
